Yes, it is mandatory. We require all of our tenants to sign the lease before keys can be exchanged. The lease helps set out key duties and responsibilities of both the tenant and the landlord.
Before you can move in, we require that you pay the first month’s rent and security deposit. Additionally, we require that you provide us with proof that you have renters insurance.
The security deposit equal to the rent of one month is required before you can be allowed to move in.
You may also need to pay other deposits as well depending on certain circumstances. For example, if you have a pet, you may need to pay a pet deposit as well.

Non-emergency maintenance issues can be reported via the tenant portal. With reasonable notice, we may enter the premises for purposes connected with the repair, care or maintenance of the rental unit.
A property manager may need to enter your home for several reasons. Such reasons include for property showings, repairs, and unit inspections.
That said, we’ll always give you ample notice, typically 24 - 48 hours in advance before accessing your home.
Some properties will allow tenants to have pets, while others will not. As such, to avoid violating HOA or your lease agreement, always inquire with your property manager first before deciding to keep a pet.
You can get a roommate so long as he or she has passed through our screening process.
Keeping a roommate without notifying us is a serious violation of the lease agreement.
